Charity Commission: Moongara
For
Moongara for donating to the SPCA of Louisiana, which is currently running a program to help those hurt by the oilspill keep their pets when money is tight. It's an awesome program and I urge many to read more and send whatever you can to support them =3
You cna read more about it in my journal (please note, these kind of commissions are closed, though I encourage you to donate anyways!): http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/1553588/
I've gotten much better since the last time I'd drawn this character, nearly a year ago:

improvement has improved. or something.
nice and elegant, and good colours, too. there is a fluid motion in there... and I like her smile. ^^ I want to hold a xylophone stick against her back scales while she passes me to see if they make a sound. XD
scanners sometimes seem to have a huge problem with orange and red. it seems to be a digital 'thing'. bacjk in the days before I had a comp and scanner at home I went to the copyshop. most times we needed three or four tries to make any copy look remotely like the original due to all the red and orange shades...

there is a thought... since many money bills of any valuable currency have some certasin shades of red, blue and purple, maybe it's some agreement between great nations and scanner manufactures to prevent easy copies of real money? I believe I have heard something along that line years ago.
I guess it means one has to find a way around it, which creates a pic file which isn't exactly like the original. ^^

Looks like I missed this one in my updates.. glad I went back and checked your gallery. Nice work again. Can't find a single flaw on the non-morph anatomy to comment on. Your coloring is very nice. I love the striping, esp. on the tail, and the detail and coloring on the armor gives it some real depth. Keep up the good work. :)
Thanks for you kind comments! Would you believe the striping is actually done with the color green? There's a bit of indigo blue mixed in to darken it. I've been trying to do the "never use black" method, and it seems to be working =3
I was thrilled with the armor--red is such a difficult color to shade, I'm glad it came off well here!
