Seeing this kinda makes me wanna install RPG Maker XP again on my PC and work on a game. I just hate all the inside work that has to be done. The skills, items, all that stuff.

I know it's hard. for me it's some of the events. I had experiece with the console versions.

But it's better to at first use generic names then make something up.

Indeed it does. though it's a bit harder since some of the features from the earlier games are not in there which are in vx which makes some parts of the gamemaking easier.

i found xp easier to use and the charatcer sets were better than vx, and the vx layering system drives me bonkers xD

Well indeed the vx system is limited though i know some scripts bypassed the map limitations but it looks pretty bad if you using the map for test play.

im working with rpgmaker vx right now acctually xD

kinda pissy with some of the features that were missing in XP

Indeed it is but some of the features that were not in xp but were in 2000 and 2003 were in. Like the scrolling paroramas.
