Unfortunately for the jackal, she continues to sink deeper & deeper into the bottomless desert sand, realizing what will become of her within the next few minutes. Out of despair, she attempts to hold in her breath after sinking past her neck—however, *just* as she opens her mouth, the mud quickly starts to make its way through it, causing our unlucky jackal to hopelessly gargle as she reaches closer and closer to her muddy end.
Mud plops up as her heads splurges under the ground, and after a bit of silence...pop, pop, pop. A few bubbles quietly burst from the quicksand, and the desert is quiet once more...
