I think the one piece is very fitting for her :)
EDIT (August): Trying to work on cleaning my drawings a little better so that not all of the lines look so blotchy. Also kind of reverting to some good ol' cross hatching
Switched up her facial expression so that she looks more-- errrmmm enjoyed ;D , and less confident (not that she isn't anymore. Hibana always has an attratcive, confident disposition). I think I've made some slight improvements to the pic overall

Unfortunately I basically have my entire cast (and most of my plot) set up already. But of course, I dont mind having characters joining up with mine

Basically Onyx is an outcast for his failure as a guard in his earlier years. He drifted around for years and eventually lucked upon Hibana's clan. They allowed him to stay as a member, and in return he vowed to protect their clans elder (which at the time was Hibanas grandfather).
