A WIP for my GIANT plush based on my sona, Shi the Leopon. I've been working on this on and on for months and its an enormous project both in physical size, weighing several points, and in detail.
Each strand of 'fur' is latch hooked on to create fur and patterns. The ears are needle felted by breaking up the fibers of the yarn I'm using with wire grooming brushes then felting them over the stitches of the ear before they're sewn on.
The body, feet and tail are additionally weighted with craft 'beans', not unlike a beanie baby.
There is still a lot of work to be done on this but little by little its taking shape.
