Another ac badge, I had fun with this one cause he told me I could pretty much do anything I wanted with it. Mucha would be turning in his grave if he saw this.
Done on the nintendo DS. The program I use is colors; the link is in my profile.

Haha, as it loaded, I was like "Ooh, Mucha!"
Then I was like "Ooooh, Salammbô!"
That's always been one of my favorites of his, if not perhaps my mostest favorite <3
Also, I can't imagine doing that linework on a DS. That would break my hand with a full-sized tablet, dude. YOU SO CRAZY
Also also, this is like the best thing.

Hey now, I saw your tiny little illustrations at the Art Show at AC >:e
I think
jasonmiller or someone else was telling me about how I had to totally look at your tiny sketchbook full of tiny art, but I guess I never got that chance :E
I think

I'm a huge dork and I have combed through your gallery (because I love your art) and yes that's what I mean. I guess really I feel like it so naturally goes with your artistic style. Not that everything else doesn't but probably due to the artistic liberty I just feel like the colours and composition really came together *shrugs*
No matter what I think, I love strolling through your art and seeing what you're up to ^_^

Hahah oh nooo that means you'll notice how i've gotten super lazy with experimenting and doing backgrounds.
But thanks :D part of why my stuff probably seems to fit well with it is cause I picked up Mucha's books early on in college so it's probably imprinted bits of itself onto my "style"

Hahah, to be fair I was kind of elusive; I spent a bit of time in the artist's alley (that one that was a lottery) but it was like half of a day for both days. The rest of the time I was off wandering around all over with pals I'd just met or chillin in the zoo (also for short periods of time) :v
I think I did printmaking in highschool lol. We had this huge press. Was some bullshit post-modern art that was essentially crisscrosses and circles because that's all the teachers ever wanted to see in highschool. I think it's a little too, uh... physically involved for me? Nowadays I'm pretty much completely digital-only.

haha understandable. The best part is running around with friends.
And your digital work is absolutely superb. You have a remarkable knowledge for marking out the form with varying contours. I only ask because well, Mucha did lithos obv. And it's mainly for my own curiosity. I feel like it'd be something you'd do great things with if you were inclined to it. However I'm extremely content to watch everything you post here. It's sad how meaningless most high school art classes are honestly. But it does make one appreciate what we learn in college.

Yeah man, AC was a total blast for my first con and I'll prob/def be makin the next one if I can afford the time :v
Highschool art (and even some college art) was pretty meaningless because of the marks and shit. Marks meant nothing but we're taught that it seems to implicate some sense of worth/achievement so the "hard working" students just ended up pleasing the teachers with stupid crap that doesn't advance their own abilities and the ones that ignored the assignments usually weren't arting on their own anyways.
There were very few students (most of which were my friends) who kind of disregarded doing things for marks and focused on what could do with assignments to help us learn/improve on our own C;

If I saw something like this float into my bedroom at night I'm not sure if I would have been scared or excited. My paranoia would probably have made me toss the blankets over him and then thrown him into the closet. But my curious side would have done something more nasty, I think. :D
