It's been a while, huh? I never stopped drawing, it's just that curse of unfinished artworks extended to my sketches. Over the course of last two or three months I tried to complete several big artworks, and failed every time as the process invariably came to a grinding halt. Even the sketches... oh, right, I've said that already. Enough of me complaining.
Today I decided to draw something just out of spite, because it's about time to finally post SOMETHING. Ended up drawing this.
You probably recognized her, but in case you didn't, it's
luthiennightwolf (the best she-wolf there is. thank you for amazing character.)

It was always on the sketch stage, a few details (mostly hands) were hard to get right and I couldn't make myself overcome them. Then again, procrastination.
The big project I'm working on is different. I managed to draw hands I'm happy with, the only thing left is hair (which shouldn't be too big of a problem) and maybe a few details of the background. Then it's all about rendering.
Maybe you want to look at the sketch that is 99%complete?

Maybe I'm rare but I actually really like drawing hands. lol I think a lot of artists do have a tough time with them though, it just takes a ton of practice to get comfortable with the shapes. My suggestion would be to just do some practice pages with only hands, use some photo refs or your own hand and don't worry too much about them being perfect (you don't even have to show them to anyone), just repeat until you start to get familiar with how they're constructed.
I can wait to see the finished work as I'd rather let you put your polish on it and not feel rushed to put it out, but do let me know when you have it ready. :)

I feel I'm slowly but steadily getting better at hands, as I started to draw them even on sketches (at least those I plan to post). There's still a lot to learn, but hands don't scare me nearly as much as they used to.
And you were always really good at drawing hands, even on your earliest artworks. I remember when your fursona had pretty impressive claws.
