alrighty, and for the mist you could make a 19 px line across where you need it. then use the smudge tool vertically on it. then add a gaussian blur of...uhhh i think its 70 pixels. id need to be on photoshop to see the number. it might be 100 px. then duplicate the layer (btw the mist should be on its own layer) free transform the layer and put it over just the part of the horizon the moon touches
