Got bored and wanted to draw some city pop-themed stuff, but wanted to pick a different OC rather than Gen this time!
Redraw of Momoki Kikuchi's ADVENTURE album cover, but with my seamonster boy Alek (his human form because I don't get to draw it as much!) Even though frankly, the cheerful poppy/jazzyness of this genre of music doesn't really fit Alek (if anything he's more of an oceangrunge kind of guy), it was still pretty fun to take such an iconic album art to draw~
Trying to recreate the background was fun! Overall pretty happy with the finished result - I'd honestly love to do more stuff like this in the future <3
