It's May the 25th, which, as far as I'm concerned, is the true Star Wars Day, by virtue of being the release date of A New Hope (before it had that subtitle) back in 1977, and in celebration, I'll have each of the movies play in the background of my house, in order of release. But I digress.
I have made the comparison between
baroncoon's Petina deMouse and Star Wars' Obi-Wan Kenobi before; a comparison he agrees with. Baron has another piece of her as a Jedi deflecting laser blasts with her bare hands -which I hope he remembers to post soon-, but before he did that one I had already decided upon giving her the long, brown robe. However, I picked up from him the idea of giving her a short skirt to show off her legs, because Petina has an amazing pair of legs.
I figured I'd make her lightsaber emerald green, to match the emerald green of her eyes -green, and not with envy, <b>is</b> Petina's color!-, but I realized too late -as I type this, in fact- that I should have probably asked Baron what color she'd prefer. I certainly hope I luck out on her preferance being green!
They weren't lying when they called her "the guest muse". Inspiration hits me from here and there, and I do my best to act upon it, but I rarely feel as inspired as I do when Petina is the source of my inspiration.
As for why she would be a Jedi, the answer is that she's one of the most compassionate people in the world, as beautifully exemplified by the time she visited Baron in his dreams to reassure him that he wouldn't stop having dreams about My Little Pony even after the end of the show: https://www.deviantart.com/baron-engel/art/Still-there-816831471, as well as the time she figured out where a demon who had possessed Apple Bloom (long story) was headed after it had given false directions to Scootaloo: https://sfw.furaffinity.net/view/9694382/ . I think, in the context of Star Wars' very "black & white" sense of morality, given the choice between the team who has pledged to protect the innocent but opposes her carefree, romantically-active lifestyle, and the team who would let her indulge in it but aims to enslave or exterminate billions of innocent lives across the galaxy, she would pick the former without a second thought. Because she knows, as all decent people do, that we aren't alone in this life, and that lending a friendly helping hand to those we share it with yields a greater benefit than living only for ourselves to the detriment of everyone else.
