the buttons and rgb led's are all wired up! they look freaking great! now the wiring isn't complete since i still don't have the joysticks i want to get for it. they've been out of stock for months now and i'm really considering just giving up on them and get some standard sanwa jlf's instead. would be a lot cheaper... things to consider. i also gotta program the led's so that they'll get out of the default rainbow puke loop lol. the next step i'm going to make for this will be the side art. after that the pc, then the marquee and lastly the t-molding. then this baby will be ready to go!

oh yeah. crt's are hard to come by these days in good condition. i mean heck the monitor in my hydro thunder cab is showing signs of it going out. the flyback is starting to make that high pitch whine sound and the picture isn't fitting the screen properly anymore. the best/cheapest option is to just replace it with a modern tv. but i know people want to preserve how it looks and completely understand.
Yeah, for sure. But what makes this even harder, is that it's specifically a 15Hz CRT monitor - he said anything else will straight-up not display on the Konami 573 board. But he also said that when you use an LCD on a home PC setup, you gotta deal with lag - with the 15Hz CRT on the original board, there's no lag at all!
What? You don't like g a m i n g rainbow RGB's bonanzas? :P
Also, fancy job already... it's startin' to look pretty damn good.
Can't wait to see it running some games and what not.
I wonder if eventually You could also add in lightguns just for the hell of it... That Time Crisis 5 executable is prewwttyy much free and downloadable everywheeereee~

I gotta be honest, I do remember of playing on some actual arcade machines with LG's and their screens were quite small... Tho they clearly looked like they were on the veeery cheap side of the spectrum.. Actual LG games usually go for the gigantic fuck off sizes >_>
(I've yet to try my TC5 exe and what have ya... been very lazy about it).
