Wow.. two things learnt from this commission! 1. I am rubbish at drawing cats.. it took me so many tries to get something that even remotely resembled a cat! 2. Black characters are effing hard to colour LOL. But despite all of this, I really enjoyed drawing it! Definitely need to practice colouring with black more.. I need to practice colouring more fullstop really :/.

I wish I had of taken a picture of the lineart before I coloured it.. cos I really liked it! I think my colouring butchered it a little :(. And then having to take a photo of the picture rather than scan it has butchered it some more.. one day one day I will get myself a scanner lol! Her eyes were added in digitally too.. I felt like I didn't have quite the right coloured pencils going by the reference image she gave me so decided to add them in :D.
