Commission done for  trickymario7654 of Lisa and some of her friends getting turned into frogs.

The story behind this that I was given was basically the characters somehow get on the bad side of a witch, who decided to take her revenge on them by reassigning their position on the basic food chain. Wasn't really given much detail beyond that.
My head cannon is that this is somehow Allison and Alex's fault, just based on the poses and expressions I went with.

I've never drawn Simpsons characters before and I will confess I have never watched a full episode of the show, either. I don't know who most of these characters are or what role they play in the show. Never having drawn them, it was a bit of a challenge to figure how to handle the simplified designs they have. You'd think simple designs would be easier, but that's where it gets you. The simpler it is, the more easy it is to spot when you draw something wrong. I'm not sure I got it exactly right, but I think it's close enough that people won't be put off by anything not completely right.
As much as I like drawing frogs, Simpsons style frogs are so specific and there are so few references for them that it actually provided me with some trouble.
Overall, I think it turned out pretty good.

The smoke cloud really annoyed me. The commissioner specifically requested a smoke cloud effect and I don't usually draw smoke, so I don't really know very well how to construct them from scratch. Since it was such an odd shape, I couldn't just find a reference and trace it for an easy solution, I had to try to work out exactly how it works. The result is . . . I'm gonna say mixed. I think I've at least got some idea of how it works, but I need to practice more to get it really down.
