Prologue
The Characters
Our protagonist is Ally. She had a rough childhood. Ally enjoys drawing and colouring. Her clothes were mostly black and white. Ally had no friends, although she wishes she did. People shamed her for being who she is. So, she pretended to like an adult, despite not feeling like one.
Ally stuck out in a crowd. She is short for what she was. A wolf. She stuck out due to her voluptuous body. She stuck out because of her hair. She stuck out because of her ears and tail. Ally hated her body she hated herself, and so did everyone else.
Ally was alone. Alone in an unforgiving, and hateful world.
Our second protagonist is Azazel. She was slim and tall. She wore piercings, makeup, chokers. Azazel was a weird gal. She had chains that looped her choker and pants. Her favorite choker also had metal rings, which connect to the collar. It was more of a collar then a choker. She sometimes wore bondage over her clothing.
Azazel was mean. Ally hated her the most because of that. But Azazel never interacted with Ally. But Azazel was mean, nonetheless. And Ally hated mean people.
Azazel truly deserves the name of a demon. For she is one. Or at least, this is what Ally thought.
Chapter 1
The Demon Approaches
Ally went to school. A University to be exact. Ally hated the school; she hated her dorms. Everyone is unforgiving, and hateful. The world is unforgiving and hateful. Ally wished for her life to be over repeatedly. Everything felt like a chore. Everything felt exhausting. She wishes she could stay asleep forever.
Uni was a terrible place for Ally. Everyone expects her to be mature. So, she pretends. She wishes she did not have too. She wishes people could just accept that she is not an adult. But society is unforgiving and hateful. The world is unforgiving and hateful.
She cannot even let loose in her private time. Because she is emotionally, and physically exhausted by the end of the day. Ally sat at the foot of her locker. Colouring. Someone approached Ally, “What are you doing?” They said.
“None of your business.” Ally replied hoping for them to back off. The person snatched th colouring book out of her hand.
“Oh my god.” They said in exaggerated shock, “Your 23 and still use colouring books?”
Ally reached for it, but the person stiff-armed her, keeping her from it, “Give it back!” She cried. But they did not comply. Ally heard the familiar jingle of chains. The demon approaches. Azazel snatched the book from the person.
“She said give it back.” Azazel had a mean tone. “So back off!” She shoved the person, and they ran away from the demon. Azazel handed the book to Ally, “Here you go!” She smiled warmly.
“Th-thank you.” Ally said. “NOW GET AWAY FROM ME!” Azazel flinched.
“And if I don’t?” Azazel became smug.
“Then I’ll…” Ally clutched her stuff to her chest and then dashed away from Azazel.
Azazel looked at the running girl until she left her sight. “Heh, feisty.” She said, “I like that.”
People called Azazel a demon because of her anger issues. She cannot stand it when someone calls her a name. Azazel, upon hearing someone do that, would choke them. Even the professors were scared to talk to her. Ally was indifferent. Azazel was also alone. Every friend she made, she eventually lost because of her anger.
Azazel noticed Ally left a clutch at the foot of her locker. Azazel picked it up and placed it in her backpack to hand it to Ally at the end of the day. Azazel never wanted to be the way she is. Its not like you can choose how you turn out. The world is a cruel and unforgiving place.
Ally had no clue what just happened. That one smile has shattered her world view.
What was that? She thought. Why was she nice? Why did she smile? Ally had no answer to these questions. Was Azazel as mean as people said she was?
No. Azazel is mean and cold. Ally saw firsthand. She had someone pinned to a locker whilst choking them. She cannot be nice! She is a demon! She must be! No one is that mean! But what if she is not. Ally slammed the door to her door and collapsed onto the floor. The confusion was too much. Everything was too much!
Azazel was on her way to Ally’s dorm room. “Why does she have horns?” People were talking about her. “Maybe she is one of… them.” One of them? What do they mean one of them? Azazel gritted her teeth and clenched her fist. She turned around, Took the persons throat in her hand, and slammed them into a locker, “What did you say punk?” She said angrily.
“N-nothing.” The person choked out.
“I heard you say something, WHAT WAS IT!?” Azazel squeezed.
“Nothing. I swear.” The person said.
Azazel threw the person onto the floor. They held their throat. “Get out of my sight.” She said coldly. The person ran away in fear. Azazel continued to Ally’s room.
Azazel opened Ally’s door. She saw Ally with a knife to her wrist. And tears in her eyes. Azazel’s eyes grew wide. Ally threw the knife to the floor and placed her face in her arms. Azazel ran over to Ally, “Are you okay?” Azazel asked.
“Get out of my room.” Ally said.
“I just wanted too-” Azazel took out the clutch.
“I SAID GET OUT!” Ally yelled at Azazel. Azazel hugged Ally tightly.
“Not till I know your okay.” Azazel’s voice was warm.
“Please.” Ally said, “Leve me alone.”
Azazel noticed the stuffies on her bed and got an idea. “Fine.” Azazel said, and left.
This only made Ally question things more. Why is she so nice to me? Why? Why couldn’t I do it? Why am I stuck in this hell? Ally will always remember this on truth. The world is a cruel and unforgiving place.
Chapter 2
The Demon’s my Friend?
Ally did not know what to think anymore. It was weird feeling Azazel be so warm. Ally thought she was a demon. And demons are cold, cruel, and heartless. Just like this world. Everyone in this school is mean. Ally thought for sure Azazel would have shamed her for using colouring books. But she did not. Why?
Ally got ready. And she headed to class. Azazel was not there today. Ally did not know why. But she felt, worried. Azazel was mean. So why did Ally feel worried. As soon as Ally went to take a seat. Someone threw something at her. Ally did not bother picking it up. Cause she already knew what it was.
Class was hard. Harder than usual. Ally spent most of the time worrying about Azazel. But she did not know why.
The lunch bell rang. Ally went to her usual place. An abandoned place by the school that no one else really knew about. Except Ally and someone from her childhood. When she reached there. Azazel was sitting in the entrance.
Ally dropped her bento box. She was in shock. Frozen. Unmoving. Azazel noticed Ally, and Azazel gave a warm smile. Ally’s lip quivered as she stumbled backwards. Azazel got up and began to walk towards Ally. Ally fell, and Azazel held out her hand to help her up. “Need help?” Azazel asked.
“What is going on…?” Ally could feel tears well up in her eyes.
“What’s wrong?” Azazel squatted in front of Ally.
“Get AWAY FRO ME!” Ally’s scream echoed through the forest. Azazel ran her fingers through her hair and rested her hand on her cheek, “But Ally.” Azazel said softly, “I thought we were friends…”
“You’re not him. You are not. You can’t be!” Ally was confused. Azazel picked her up and brought her to underneath the abandoned bridge. There the two sat. Ally kept her distance from Azazel. “Come on.” Azazel said, “Don’t be this way.” She scooted over to Ally.
Ally noticed a mark on Azazel’s wrist. It was difficult to see due to the lighting but there was a mark there. “What is that?” Ally asked timidly.
“What is ‘what’?” Azazel replied. Ally pointed to the mark. Azazel quickly pulled her sleeve over it, “Its nothing.” Azazel looked away from Ally.
“what was that?” Ally pushed.
“I said it was nothing!” Azazel said sternly. There was pain behind her voice. Ally could tell. She knew far too much about pain. Ally scooted away from Azazel.
“I’m sorry for shouting.” Azazel said, “I just-” Azazel’s words got stuck in her throat.
“Its okay.” Ally said, trying to calm Azazel.
Ally went back to being next to Azazel. Azazel noticed something odd about Ally’s tail. The fur on it was stiff. “Is something bothering you?” Azazel broke the silence.
“No, why?” Ally answered.
“Bullshit! Just look at your tail.” Azazel pointed to Ally’s tail. “Fur isn’t supposed to be constantly stiff like that!” Azazel’s voice was stern but calming.
“I’m fine. I swear.” Ally’s voice, however, held nothing but sorrow behind it. Ally feels like a burden to everyone she meets. Which is why she does not make friends. She is too scared to get close. But she hates being alone.
“No, you’re not.” Azazel continued; she placed her hand on Ally’s thigh. “Ally tell-”
“DON’T TOUCH ME!” Ally pushed her Azazel’s hand away. Ally hated it when people touched her.
“Jeez sorry.” Azazel said, “Just wanted to comfort you.”
“You dumb demon.” Ally said.
“What was that punk?” Azazel stood up abruptly. Ally fumbled backwards. Azazel marched towards her, “WHAT DID YOU SAY!?” Azazel picked Ally up by the collar of her shirt. Tears welled up in Ally’s eyes. Azazel dropped her and walked a few steps away.
“Sorry. I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have done that.” Azazel said.
“You are a demon…”
“I’m not a demon.” Ally got up and tried to run for it. But Azazel grabbed her by the collar. “ALLY WAIT!” She said, “I didn’t mean to scare you its just-” Azazel let go of Ally’s collar.
Ally laid in her bed. Contemplating what has been happening. She was confused as to what is going on. Why is Azazel being nice? Is she really him? If so, how? This plagued Ally. She eventually went to sleep.
Chapter 3
Conflicting Feelings
Ally woke up in the middle of the night to a rustling outside. When she checked her window, someone was entering the woods. Against her better judgment, Ally fallowed the person. She hid behind a tree when they stopped.
The person was Azazel. Azazel took out a knife and began slashing at the tree whilst murmuring to herself. “Stupid…” Was the only word Ally could make out. Azazel stopped, “I know your watching me.” She said, “Come out now.”
Ally walked out from behind the tree. “What are you doing?” Ally asked.
“I’m venting my anger.” Azazel responded.
“Why are you doing that exactly?” Ally asked.
“Because of you!!” Azazel screamed.
“What did I do?”
“Everything!” Azazel cried, “Ever since you left, my life has been nothing but hell.” What was she talking about? The two just meet. Unless…
“H-Henri?” Ally asked. This put Azazel into a pit of rage.
“So NOW you realize!” She said angrily. “HOW long does it take for someone to recognize one they knew from childhood!” She continued, “Did you… forget about me?”
“No, no.” Ally didn’t forget about Henri. She just never thought he felt like… that…
“LIAR!” Azazel screamed, “Why are you so scared of me!?” Azazel rested her head on the tree.
“I’m scared?” Ally said, “Maybe your to scared to admit that your-”
“SHUT UP!” Azazel spun around, grabbed Ally by the neck and slammed her against the tree. “Maybe I am scared! But so, what!” Azazel had tears in her eyes. “I missed you so much and you just forget about me!?” Azazel’s grip wasn’t enough to choke Ally. Only enough to pin her.
“Just let me go!” Ally squirmed, “You dumb moronical dem-” Before Ally could finish, Azazel sealed her lips with her own. Azazel kept Ally in this kiss for some time. Before throwing her to the ground. “I hate you!” Azazel cried, “I hate you for putting these feelings on me!” Azazel slammed her head on the tree. Her head rested there.
Ally began to back away slowly. Ally was stopped by five words. Five simple words, “You don’t need to pretend.” Azazel said. These words held warmth. Azazel turned to Ally with a warm smile. Did Azazel know how Ally truly felt? She couldn’t have, could she?
Azazel held out her hand, waiting Ally to take it. “Get up.” Azazel said. Ally took Azazel’s hand. Azazel pulled Ally into a hug, “I missed you so much.” Azazel said, “You don’t need to pretend.” Ally could feel the tears well up in her eyes.
For so long. Ally hated Azazel. She never knew that Azazel might be the one to save her. Ally began to cry into Azazel’s shoulder. Ally was scared. She was scared that if she stopped pretending. Azazel would hate her. Why did Ally feel this way? A warm fuzzy feeling rested in Ally. A feeling that confused her so, so much.
“Let’s run away.” Azazel said, “Together. You can stay with me where you’ll be safe.” Azazel’s words were kind. Ally nodded. It was now that Ally realized the scars on Azazel’s upper top half of her forearms, as well as her upper arms. She didn’t question it.
Ally packed her stuffies, colouring utensils and some clothes into a backpack. The sun was rising. What am I doing? Ally thought. Azazel took Ally’s hand, “Its okay.” Azazel said. Ally fallowed Azazel to a nearby parking lot. Azazel entered her car and Ally did the same. Everything felt so surreal. No turning back.
Ally entered Azazel’s house with Azazel trailing not far behind. It was small but modest. “Sorry about the mess!” Azazel said, “But, I really do mean this, you don’t need to pretend.” Azazel continued, “I’ll let you get settled in though.” And so, Ally did. Despite the way Azazel’s house looked, it felt cozy, it felt homey, it felt warm.
Azazel wasn’t so mean. Maybe Ally could stop pretending. Ally took the first step. Everything felt so scary. Ally sat on the couch with her face in her knees. Azazel entered the room. “Hey.” She said, “Want anything to eat?” Ally shook her head. “I’m fine.” Ally said sorrowfully.
Azazel sat next to Ally, “You sure?” Azazel asked, “You don’t sound okay.” Azazel snuggled up with Ally, to comfort her. Ally leaned into Azazel. And Azazel rubbed Ally’s hair. “Your okay, your safe now.” Azazel said. This is a dream. It must be. No demon is this nice. And the world is a cruel and unforgiving place.
Chapter 4
No More Pretending
Ally woke up in Azazel’s warm arms. She doesn’t remember how she got here. But she was okay with being in the demon’s arms. It makes sense Azazel might be Henri. Henri always acted more feminine then other boys. And no female goat has horns.
Ally got up and sat on the floor. She began colouring. She didn’t want Azazel to see her. So, she tried to be as quiet as possible. Ally felt Azazel rub her head. Ally jumped. She put her colouring stuff away. “Good morning.” Azazel said softly, “Didn’t I tell you; you don’t have to pretend?” Ally nodded. But Ally was scared. She didn’t want Azazel to hate her. But she didn’t know why.
“H-hey Azzie?” Ally said, “What are those marks on your arms?”
Azazel face grew grim. “They’re nothing.”
“But-”
“I SAID, they are nothing!” Azazel’s eyes gleamed with hurt. Ally left the topic alone. Ally knew what they were. Ally thought about it a couple of times. But Azazel was so happy as a kid. Why would she do something like that? “I’m sorry for shouting.” Azazel apologized.
“I-its okay.”
“Its not.” Azazel remarked, “An adult shouldn’t yell at a kid.” Ally’s heart skipped a beat. She did know. But how? It has been years since Azazel and Ally last saw each other and they never spoke in school. Ally felt warm.
Ally has never felt this feeling before. It was unknown to her. Ally felt… safe. Azazel is mean. So, what makes Ally so special? Ally was just a weirdo. Ally smiled. “You know what.” Ally said, “Your right!” Her voice became a lot more enthusiastic. A sparkle entered her eyes.
“I thought so.” Azazel remarked. Azazel got up and went to the kitchen. Ally fallowed not far behind. Azazel began making French toast. Ally sat at the table colouring. Azazel slid a plate of French toast, bacon, and eggs over too Ally. Azazel sat across from her with her plate.
“How are you feeling Ally?” Azazel asked.
“I’m feeling good!” Ally said in a slightly higher pitched voice then before. “Get ready to go when your finished eating.” Azazel said, “I have a place I want to take you.” Ally nodded.
Azazel finished washing the dishes. She got her shoes on. Ally did the same. And the two got in the car. Azazel drove to a park. Ally and Azazel got out and began walking around. Azazel stopped suddenly. She was looking at a couple. One was a very tall, stoic, wolf. The other was a silver fox. The two looked happy.
Ally tugged on Azazel’s shirt. Ally was pointing at an ice-cream stand enthusiastically. “do you want ice-cream?” Azazel asked. Ally nodded. Ally’s tail wagged. Azazel and Ally walked up to the stand. A friendly looking pup was working the stand. “How may I help you?” the pup said.
“What kind of ice-cream would you like?” Azazel asked. Ally pointed to vanilla-ice-cream. Azazel didn’t even need to say anything, and the pup was on it. “Here you go.” She said as she handed Ally the ice-cream.
Ally finished with her ice-cream and the two resumed walking around the park. Azazel bumped into the two strangers and fell. “Sorry.” Said the wolf. She reached down and helped Azazel up. “Its okay.” Azazel responded.
“Um, my name is Lada.” Lada said, “Lada Markov, and this here is my wife, Fem!” Azazel waved. Ally hid behind Azazel.
“I’m Azazel, and this here is Ally.” Azazel introduced herself and Ally. “We better get going, nice to meet you.”
“Nice to meet you too!” Lada said. And they were on their way.
After a few hours of walking the park and taking in the sights, Ally began to get tired. She eventually began leaning on Azazel as they walked. So, Azazel picked Ally up and carried her to the car.
Ally woke in Azazel’s arms once again. It was nice. Waking up in the embrace of someone kind and gentle. Except Azazel isn’t all to kind nor gentle. But Ally didn’t care. She couldn’t bring herself to hate Azazel anymore.
Ally was snuggling one of her stuffies. It wasn’t even morning yet. So, Ally went back to sleep. Hoping this wasn’t a dream. Hoping she can be treated with acceptance in this unforgiving and hateful world.
Chapter 5
The Demon’s Soothing Words
Ally awoke to screaming. Her mother and father in another argument. The same old bullshit day in and day out. Ally hated it. She really did. When Ally got up to get some breakfast. Her mother somehow found a way to blame Ally’s father for waking her up.
Ally got her breakfast and went back to her room. At least she was safe there. In her room, Ally could barely hear them arguing. Ally heard the front door slam. And the screaming ceased. Ally thought it was over. But it wasn’t.
Ally’s father stormed into her room. And began to hit her whilst screaming about how this is her fault. About how her parents broken relationship is her fault. But her father was just looking for an outlet to his anger.
Ally dealt with this for a multitude of days. She was sixteen now. Ally heard a knock on the door. It was CPS. They came for Ally. To take her away from her parents. The CPS Lady has been coming to there house for days now. Its about time they find solid enough evidence of abuse. Ally learned one of many horrors of this world firsthand.
Ally woke up with tears streaming down her face. It was early. But it was late enough to wake up. Ally got up to get breakfast. Azazel was still asleep. She looked peaceful. Her messy hair gave shape to her face. And the thin blanket hugged each curve of her body.
Ally left the room and entered the kitchen. There, she got a toaster and made some toast. When it was finished, she spread peanut-butter atop the toast, and sprinkled some cinnamon on the toast. Ally went back to the room to eat. She remembered the dream. And began to cry.
Azazel woke, “what’s wrong?” She asked. Azazel got out of bed and sat next to Ally on the floor. “Nothing.” Ally said.
“You’re lying.” Azazel remarked. Her voice was smooth, and soothing.
“I just had a bad dream.” Ally said.
“What was it about?”
“I’d rather not say.” Azazel hugged Ally tightly, but gently. “Was it something about your father?” Azazel asked. Ally nodded. “Its okay. Life is gray sometimes. But I can help you remake your childhood.” Ally smiled.
Azazel thought of something. She then moved a couple boxes around and got out a neatly wrapped box. “I know it might not help much but.” Azazel handed the box to Ally, “It might help cheer you up!” Ally took the box and opened it. Inside it was a blue stuffed bunny with a patchwork face. “D-do you like it?” Azazel asked. Ally nodded and then hugged Azazel tightly.
“We all feel down sometimes.” Azazel said, “And we all get a little broken, but just a little bit of patchwork and we’re fixed.” Ally laughed a bit. Azazel wasn’t mean. There is just something else going on. “Hey Ally?” Azazel said. Ally looked at Azazel, she looked uneasy. “What is it Azzie?” Ally replied.
“I… uh.” Azazel began shifting from side to side. “You know what, never mind!”
“Hey Azzie?” Ally said, “What did that kiss mean? You know, from a couple days ago?”
“It didn’t mean anything; I was just acting on impulse.” Azazel’s voice sounded doubtful. But it was enough to make Ally believe what she said. Ally looked down. She was hoping for a different answer. But was Azazel just acting on impulse?
Ally looked at the patchwork-stuffed-bunny. Ally smiled. “That’s okay.” Ally said. Azazel could tell that Ally wasn’t okay. It was obvious by the tone of her voice. Ally began eating her cinnamon toast again. “What if.” Azazel said, “We have a fun day tomorrow?” Ally’s eyes lit up as soon as Azazel said that.
The two sat on the couch. Ally snuggled up against Azazel. Azazel turned on some cartoons for Ally. Ally was happy. She really was happy. And around Azazel, she felt comfortable being in littlespace. The way Azazel speaks is smooth and silky. Her warm body was comfortable. Everything about her was comforting. Ally was falling deeper, and deeper in love.
Azazel got up. She went into the kitchen to get something. She came out with a bag of mini doughnuts. “Can I have some?” Ally said with an awe filled voice. “Of course!” Azazel replied. She handed Ally the bag. Ally dug into it. Eating doughnut after doughnut. She was getting powder all over her face. It was amusing to Azazel. Seeing Ally get all messy. It was like being a mother, and Ally was the child.
Azazel turned off the TV, “Time for bed Ally.” Azazel shook Ally awake. Ally nodded and rubbed her eyes. Azazel helped her to bed. She tucked Ally in. And gave her a kiss on the forehead. Azazel climbed into bed after her. And the two went to sleep.
Chapter 6
A Fun Day for a Little
Azazel made bacon, eggs, and toast. The bacon and eggs made a smiley face. Ally was amazed by Azazel’s basic cooking skills. It was cute. Azazel sat down across from Ally, to eat her breakfast. “Do you like it?” Azazel asked. Ally nodded enthusiastically. “Are you ready for today?” Ally cocked her head to the side.
“What do you mean?” Ally asked confusedly, and with a mouth full of food.
“We were going to have a fun day, remember?” Azazel said.
“Oh~.” Ally’s eyes lit up upon hearing the word ‘fun.’ Ally nodded.
When the two were finished eating, they got ready to leave. They left and went to the Plaza. It always has something fun to do. Ally ran ahead of Azazel upon reaching the Plaza. There was so much. Magic shows, Carnivals, food stands, places down by the shore, and even a parks and playgrounds.
Azazel finally caught up with Ally. “So.” Azazel said, “What do you want to go first?”
Ally looked around for a bit, “Ice-cream.” She said.
“You want some ice-cream?” Azazel asked, Ally nodded with enthusiasm. “Okay!” Azazel said with a bit of a giggle. The two went to an ice-cream place. And got some ice-cream. Azazel had red velvet, and Ally had cookies and cream. Ally’s face got all messy. And Azazel helped clean it up.
The two were walking side by side on the shore. Ally was running around looking for rocks. “Your so cute, you know that?” Azazel said. Ally looked up at Azazel and nodded with a smile. Ally picked up a rock and runs over to show Azazel. “Look!” She said as she held it up.
“Wow!” Azazel said, “That’s a cool looking rock!” The rock was exceptionally smooth. It was a black rock that was speckled with red. “I know right?” Ally looked at the rock. She then stuffed it into her pocket.
Ally and Azazel began walking down the sidewalk at the Plaza again. Ally stopped and looked at a place. It was a play center for orphaned Fulls and Halflings. “What is this place?” Ally said with awe. “It’s a place kids without parents go to play with one another.” Azazel replied.
“Can we go in there?” Ally asked.
“I don’t think so.” Azazel replied, “Come on, let’s keep going.” The two continued down the pathway. They did a lot of stuff together. They ate at a restaurant, they played at the park, they watched some movies, and they saw some magic shows. At the end of the day, the two went home.
Ally was in the bedroom playing with her toys. Azazel sat on the ground next to her. And the two played together. Azazel and Ally had fun today. Ally was especially happy.
But whilst playing. Ally saw the scars on th upper part of Azazel’s forearm. This brought her out of littlespace. “Azzie, why do you have those?” Ally asked.
“Have what?” Azzie replied with another question.
“Those scars, on your arm.”
“C-can we please not talk about this?”
“Azzie,” Ally took Azazel’s hands, “Is there something going on?” Azazel took a deep breath. “My mother died.” Azazel said, “and my father is trying to get in contact with me.”
“What is so bad about that?” Ally asked.
“He is… a bit transphobic.” Azazel face grew with sorrow, “He doesn’t respect anything about me. And this brought up repressed memories.”
“Oh.”
“Most of my scars are, quite old.” Azazel said, “But some of them are relatively new.”
“Azzie.” Ally hugged Azazel tightly, “You should’ve told me. I’ve been through a lot myself.”
“I know its just…” Azazel hugged Ally back, “I didn’t want to worry you.” Azazel could feel tears well up in her eyes. Ally rubbed Azazel’s back in comforting motions. Azazel began to cry. She hasn’t felt someone else’s warmth in a long time. It was overwhelming. Azazel was crying but she did not know why.
Ally continued to comfort Azazel. “Hey Azzie?” Ally said. Azazel was wiping the tears from her face, “Yeah?” Said Azazel.
“Is it fine, if I call you mama?” Ally said. It was a sudden question. Azazel looked down at her hands. “Yeah, of course!”
“Thank you!” Ally squeezed Azazel. Azazel laughed and squeezed Ally. Azazel thought that Ally was ridiculously cute. But Azazel didn’t want to stay friends. But she was scared that Ally would reject her.
Chapter 7
A Sweet Confession.
Ally woke up in Azazel’s arms once again. She smiled. Ally just realized that Azazel’s arms are slightly muscular. Ally blushed. She hadn’t realized that Ally was muscular. How lucky could a girl get? Ally internally squealed. She now no longer wanted to get out of bed.
Azazel was cooking breakfast, “I have something planned for today.” Azazel said.
“Really?” Ally asked.
“Yup!” Azazel answered, “But, I was thinking of doing something big at the end of today.”
“What is it?” Ally asked.
“That’s a surprise!” Azazel said, “Now eat up!”
Azazel made pancakes this time. Ally ate them up quickly. “Hungry much?” Azazel said jokingly. Ally shook her head, “They’re very good!” Ally gave a thumbs up to emphasize how good they are. Ally loved Azazel’s cooking. Despite her culinary skills being quite basic. Azazel loved Ally. She was a ray of kindness in a cruel and unforgiving world.
When the two finished eating, they got ready to leave. Azazel was getting her choker on. “What is that?” Ally asked curiously.
“It’s a choker.” Azazel replied.
“Oh~.” Ally continued, “What’s a choker?”
“Its something people wear.” Azazel continued, “Some people do it for fashion, sometimes it means someone is a sub, and others a sign of dominance!”
“Oh~. That’s nice.” Ally remarked. Azazel finished. The two got their shoes on and left the house. The two went to the beach. Azazel got changed and so did Ally.
Azazel was wearing a bikini with bondage over it, along with long gloves to cover her scars. Ally just wore a frilled one-piece with a flower pattern on it. She felt slightly uncomfortable in it as it exaggerated her hourglass figure.
Azazel also got some sand-toys, towels, drinks, some chips, and a thing of sunscreen. Azazel helped apply the sunscreen on Ally. Azazel only had to do her own back, limbs, neck, and face. Azazel is what is called a fur-belly. A halfling where only the underbelly has fur.
Azazel was able to carry all the stuff down to the beach. The cooler of drinks and snacks was hoisted on her shoulders, along with the umbrella and towels. And she held the bucket of sand-toys in the other hand. Ally blushed at the sight of this feet of strength. But considering Azazel is a mountain goat, it shouldn’t be unexpected.
Azazel went into the water, only about waist deep. Ally fallowed not far behind, but only to get a bucket of water for a drip castle. Ally began scooping sand into the bucket of water to make it all muddy. She then proceeded to take handfuls of mud and drip it to make a castle.
When Azazel came out of the water to reapply sunscreen, Ally was done with a couple towers. Azazel decided to help. “Do you like the beach?” Azazel asked. Ally nodded. After a few minutes of dripping mud, Azazel sighed, “Oh my gods, how do you do this tedious task?” Azazel threw her head up.
“I’m very patient, mama.” Ally replied. Azazel wasn’t very patient. You could say she was the opposite of patient.
“I suppose that is true.” Azazel booped Ally’s nose. Ally cutely giggled. “Well, I’m going to go back into the water.”
“Could you bring me another bucket of water too?” Ally asked. Azazel nodded. “Thank you!”
The day was a great and fun day. Azazel and Ally played in the water and sand. They had a bit of a cookout. They got ice-cream. But most importantly, Azazel and Ally bonded. It has been half a year since Azazel and Ally ran away that night. But neither of them has had the courage to say the obvious.
Azazel and Ally sit side by side on a cliffs edge. Watching the sunset. Ally held on to Azazel’s arm. “Have you ever thought about death?” Azazel asked, “What it would be like to die and no one care?”
“Of course not.” Ally replied in a concerned tone, “At least, not anymore.”
Azazel took a deep breath. “Well.” She said, “I don’t want to die alone.”
“You won’t. Because you have me!” Ally squeezed Azazel’s arm.
“Ally I mean…” Azazel couldn’t speak. Her words got stuck in her throat. “I…” She tried to speak but couldn’t, “I-” But it turns out, she didn’t have too. Ally pounced on top of Azazel and kissed her. Azazel reciprocated. Ally pulled away to speak, “I love you.” She said. Azazel could feel tears streaming down her face. But she was happy, and not sad.
The two got home. Azazel had Ally pinned too the bed. Ally was smiling. Ally felt loved. She felt cared for. But most importantly, she felt excepted. And unashamed of who she truly is. “Are you ready?” Azazel asked Ally. Ally nodded. And this marked the beginning. Of a wonderful relationship.
This world is cruel and unforgiving. The people in it are cruel and unforgiving. But there is always someone who is good. Someone who is accepting. Someone who will take care of you. Ally found that person. She found a mama. And she wouldn’t trade her life for anything.
