Google is your friend. Bob Morane is a very popular figure of the comic with the same name. Bob Morane was first published in the mid 1960s in France and was created by Henri Vernes. Bob Morane is somewhat the Doc Savage of France.

to be completely honest, I don't appreciate "reminds me of xxxx" comments.

In realisty they add nothing since it's generally impossible to tell wether or not the person making the comment is complimenting, trolling, or stating a random association for who knows why.

So yeah, I seriously learned nothing from the prior comment, I see only the passing resemblance in that they both have the no-neck square jaw (which I, myself, learned from Bruce Timm styles).

So yeah, given all that, I just see no reason to google every damn random passing reference of "looks like this" because I have no idea if you even give a crap about what I drew. Ya know, something as simple as "I like this because it reminds me of that" would really add a lot more meaning to the comment. (and no, you're not the only person who does this, that's why I vent on everyone who wastes a comment on such a vacant stare practice)

Hey it was just an observation, did not had any other intentions. I liked that show as a kid so you can see it as a compliment. And yes the Bob Morane cartoon was influenced by Bruce Timms art style, while that one was influenced by Jack Kirby when he worked for animation.

Also if I would not give a crap about what you drew, I would not have looked at the image and made a comment to it, I would have simply deleted it from my inbox.

I've had trolls before watch my account just to harass me in the past. so I tend to assume the worst or obnoxious reasons behind vague comments
