This past Tuesday we had to say goodbye to our 13.5 year old husky "Rio" (Left) -- seen here getting a friendly shoulder-check from our 3.5 year old "Wizard" (Right).
Shortly after the walk during which this photo was taken, her health took a turn for the worse. At her age, and with other conditions worsening as well, the options were few. The best we could do was to swallow our sorrow and ease her passage to the Undying Lands.

Oh thanks so much. I feel awful we never got a nice picture of her in the tags you sent, but since April she has been feeling less and less well and there never seemed to be a good time.
Give your crew all the best from us. Hopefully we'll get a chance to meet at least Simon when we are out in Seattle in September.
