"Do I like what?"
"Would you put that silly almanac down? The nightgown! It took six bolts to let it out and I want to know if you like it."
She held out her wings and rotated to the side, head feathers almost brushing the ceiling. He looked up at her wearily.
"It looks fine. Now would you come to bed?"
"I'll take that as high praise."
She turned all the way around and gently lowered her massive hips, bed frame groaning under her weight. The mattress slowly sunk deeper until it was supporting her fully, no small feat. He was almost pushed out of the bed by her encroaching rear. He tried to fight back and preserve a little more space for himself, but she was totally immovable aside from a plump wobble.
"Edith, this is ridiculous."
"Oh would you listen to yourself? You're always going on about wanting a bigger barn, or a bigger field. Now you've got a bigger wife, and you're going to lay there all night and complain!" She giggled sweetly.
