Speedily done X-Mas present to my friend Liz, of her character Lumen with Soundwave and Mirage. I don't usually do OCxCanon but I had fun reading her story Trinity Chronicle. ...I still suck at sideviews, and no I wasn't giving this massive detail attempt, just something quick and fun.

In her story, Mirage is the one who looks at Maria as a possible lover first, but gets spurned-then enter Soundwave. (Not sure whats happening next in her story, waiting for more chapters...)

However here is a somewhat out-of-character-ISH this-will-never-happen-but-may-be-plausible-anyways scene:
Mirage finds mistletoe and tries to get a kiss from Maria, Soundwave sees this and shoots him in the back. He has NO idea what Mistletoe is for seeing as Decepticons don't usually pay attention to human habits, Maria however does know a little seeing as she spent time around them and therefore tackles Soundwave for a smooch.
