Sooooo... why dosnt a Scree gobble someone up and adopt a mouth and set of vocal chords that dont require him to slur his words like his current spider-ey one does? Or does he lose too much monster-ey charm that way?

Strictly speaking to be consistent he could say "J'est" ('cause he keeps saying "I is" instead of "I am") but that would be pronounced the same as "J'ai" which would be saying he has a monster...
