So, here's the next part from Pencilman/Heartman, and we find Toothless...yeah, I've loved this guy as a pred, even if I don't get him often. This time with a random mouse, because this was originally supposed to be a POV thing, but they kind of forgot that part, and instead took the bug-eye view seriously. Originally it was an ant, but as someone who dislikes all forms of arthropods that are not caterpillar based(Moths, Butterfliesh, etc), I had them change it to a mouse instead. Still works, and still looks very nice.

For a Christmas in July Raffle,
asked me to give the two pages of this comic a small story to go with them.
The mouse's claws scrabbled over the tile, making a clicking noise as he rushed around the corner, and then into the open space, his hackles rising as his instincts screamed in his ears to get back into cover. But he couldn't, not yet, he needed food, and he needed it now, so he rushed towards the kitchen, heedless of the world around him.
That world then began to shake and shudder, a sudden slip causing him to fall over, in a heap of tangled limbs, just in time for the sky to go dark above him, and make him cry out silently in fear, as the black as night sole of the dragon's foot hovered above him, and he was forced to leap out of the way, barely avoided the impact.
When the dragon passed, moving towards the table with a plate in his hands, the mouse's belly gurgled, demanded the food he smelled on the plate be given to it, and without a thought for his safety, the mouse moved forward again, watching the swishing tail of the dragon, and leaping over its spade, before arriving at the leg of the table.
His claws gleamed as he pressed one hand into the leg, finding the wood soft enough that he could climb, pressing his body into the structure to maintain balance, as he watched the dragon working above him. So focused was he on the up side of things, the mouse missed something coming from below, and an errant swing of the dragon's tail smashed into him from below, sending him skyward.
