Based off of the pic  Grover Grizzly Fat Round Bear made for me: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/42115102/. Difference is this is what I had in mind, but the floating in water part was inspired by the said pic where the Aussie wore swimming shorts.

So once a year the Zoo Scouts volunteer to for career day to bring one kid each to show them their job and duties. However, the Zoo Scouts do a special sleepover with the children overnight with permission from their parents. Sidney the fat kangaroo ends up with Draco and both like each other right away. So working in the Outback, Sidney has to be on the lookout for poachers, traps, strange occurrences and having to deal with wounded or deceased animals. Later it was almost time to rendezvous with the others for the sleepover camp, but Aussie figured there was just enough time to relax. Knowing a lazy river that flows in the camp's direction, Sydney offer's Draco a ride down river much to Draco's excitement. Arriving at the river, Sidney picks up Draco, enters the water and places the little derg on his big belly as he floats down river. Both of them relax and chill without a care in the world.

Draco belongs to me.
