Gritting his teeth, Jake stepped toward the bush behind which Jane was hiding. Stand on his hind legs and tensed his muscles. Didn't wait to see her, but trampled the bush and all that would be behind it. Heard satisfied yelling, the cracking of things that might be bone, and lots of mud under his hooves.
