Gens last comic appearance is running away from home at the end of Lesson Learnt. Verge continued having adventures in Servants of the Serpent which sets him up right to the events of BBS.

there is a funny sort of nostalgia seeing gen like this again of course this is generally how i "see her" as due to the feathery raptor looking genesis sorta feels like she just kinda changed her whole species, while this makes her feel more draconic in appearance, ya know in ways just trying to put things together that would make sense, but it is what it is, of course if this is not "earth 313" genesis (sorta reference point) then its easily safe to assume that this is genesis from another timeline or "what if" she went left rather then right, kinda like how now verge is...well, daddy and him have a mutual relationship together now where as mainline they still may not be aware of each others locations... either way, its a fascinating story an certainly an attention grabbing direction its going in...tho its just me id still dig it highly if this was male/shemale genesis from that Christmas story XD
I’ve always kind of put off some comics because I never could get into the actual story they wanted to push. But these last 10 pages have hooked me like a fish, the dialogue has gotten SO GOOD and my eyes have been wide open all the way to this page.
Vergence is an ambitious yet responsible money maker

Genesis is a desperate money maker who’s gotten into some bad shit.
Kane is a responsible single adult now.
It’s like the characters have all been given big, vibrant strokes of color that establish them as who they are instead of just some face about to get fucked. it’s no small improvement, it’s a leap right into greatness.
I also think that it’s fantastic that all of the comics and games are being put in the same universe. Because now it helps me understand that the game this comic is based off of is actually just a small part of a bigger picture.

I'm glad the efforts to flesh out characters is noticed! There was a fear that developing the story for 20+ pages would put some readers off as it doesn't get right into the sex, but I feel doing the prep work is going to make the eventual payoff much sweeter.
Returning to old characters and telling new stories with them is a lot of fun. Gen in particular was mostly just a cock-sleeve and lacked any goals/motivations, sidelining her for more ambitious/flawed characters like Verge who often starts trouble and conflicts.
Story elements will be coming to the game as of the next update, showing some more characters that haven't shown up in the comic yet.
