Entry 3: At this point, the mask fuses onto the subject's face. Changes start to rapidly overtake their body. In mere moments, the subject's bone structure takes a sudden shift to accommodate the new form his body will be taking. Panic grips the subject at this step, as the immediate anatomy change appears to be causing some discomfort. At this point, the subject's appearance alters drastically to a Lycanroc rather than a human. Any irrelevant materials worn by the subject that's not originally a part of their body seems to be consumed or destroyed by the substance that leaks out of the mask.
A science team discovered a type of mask at a dig site that was rumored to change whoever came in contact with it into a pokemon. A test was conducted and, to their surprise, the rumors turned out to be true.
