During the WWII the Japanese Empire was heavily involved in China.
Here there are two Chinese soldiers,
a Nationalist (with german helmet, german gun and an english "Sten" ) and a Communist (with german rifle and a Chinese sword).
I tried to draw with realistic equipment
Thet were enemies before and after the war, but allied against Japanase. The Nationalist army proved weak and was repeatedly defeated by the Japanese, because of they fought with ancient styles and there was corruption into the Nationalist party.
The Red Army fought a guerrilla People's War with the support of peasants

Thank you XD i really like the aspect of the Chinese red soldiers, they are rarely described in the western world, but there are a pair of nice Chinese war movie..
They had no red stars and a great use of medieval swords, and then during the Revolution after the WWII they were very similar to the basic equipment of the Us soldiers in the Pacific Theatre against the Japan.
