H.P Lovercraft proved you can be a neurotic, terrified MESS of a person and still creating some amazing fiction ideas and be remembered in decades to come. Someone once said that those who are easily scared are the best at writing horror. I think this guy proves it. (If you haven't, look up a list of what he had phobias of. It's insane)

Ah fan art can be so delightfull and this one looks wild, so mutch brain probing thre the ears XD My thats nicely done with so little, just a frame and some nice blackness all arround. Looks like an oceanic vieuw, could use some fish or other type of aquatic stuff, perhaps some litle bubbles here and there.
