I've imagined Marie's birthing of SkekFane to be very traumatic to her.

Because she does become a REAL! Seer, as a final F-You by Thra itself, for siding with the villains. Thra's thinking.. ' You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes' And because if this, the visions are slowly driving her insane and paranoid...Then to make matters worst, they realize she is Preggers.

So being in her current unstable state(though she does have moments of normalcy, but it's a bit of an act for OK, and herself), can't be good for her pregnancy. NOPE!

I say half-thru it, OK awakes feeling soaked and sticky, finding he's stoked in blood, Instantly realizing the source. So despise his displeasure of SkekTek medical practices (or how he had originally attacked Marie) he was the only 'port in this storm..'

...Marie and Fane are saved, of course..but there was a small cost....Since SkekTek has no idea of human anatomy, guts Maire like a fish. Destroying her chances to ever have any more children. (and Marie is now marred, with a huge glare scar on her torso, as well)

AND YES! OK wants to kill him! Accusing SkekTek did this by choice! for obvious reasons.

But for the longest time, it's still touch and go with Marie. She is very weak, and only has enough energy to feed her child and play with her for about an hour, till she pretty much faints.
