*The orchestrator of the entire scheme makes his appearance when the jackyote, Dodger, steps in to gather up the dazed eagle and turn him into a tasty meal for himself, without all those pesky feathers to worry about. He seemed quite pleased with how it all worked out, first having Swiftwind hide in the leaves, telling him that he'd be sending a tasty snack his way; knowing that Rodent enjoyed a walk and smoke in the park every day at this time. Giving the rat the explosives was easy enough to do. All he had to do was hope the rat would seek revenge for being eaten by lighting them, and as predictable as ever, that's exactly what he had done. :D
*smiles* Such a beautiful conclusion to the storyline, with Swiftwind looking like a rodent stuffed turkey, and Dodger making a tasty meal out of him. That final frame with Dodger lying back and picking his teeth with a feather, perfectly wraps it all up. :D
My thanks to Fenrir for taking this commission and doing such a fantastic job with it.

*chuckles and nods* That's part of Swiftwind's character, where he has a very toony nature. So, such explosions generally only result in a loss of features. Unlike Rodent's more realistic existence, which is why it's best that the explosion took place inside of Swiftwind, to spare the viewers the gruesome results. ;)
Heheh. I've noticed the different effects of TNT on both Rodent and I.
My character is more cartoony, so dynamite explosions don't hurt me as much as they do to Rodent, who ends up becoming dismembered and obliterated with body parts flying everywhere! Explosing dynamite sticks in the paws of Rodent makes for a very messy and bloody critter whereas exploding dynamite sticks only manages to blow my feathers off, leaving me feeling often dazed and confused about what just happened to me.
It's cute, no less, and Rodent never fails to amuse me with all of his crazy and silly antics and adventures! Heheheheh!

A wonderful conclusion to an epic comic series, Rodent! Thanks for including my character in your silly everyday adventures of getting eaten by some other character! Heheh!
It was beautiful to see Dodger -- the mastermind -- in the comic! Perfect timing! An awesome plan well thought out and executed perfectly!
Poor me, tho! To be so exploded to look more like some kind of plucked turkey, just waiting to be eaten by that scheming jackyote! Heheheheh!
Great comic saga, Rodent!
*snugs you inside of his tummy and SQUEEZES you tightly with much love and affection and happiness!*

It was indeed delightful to see the wonderful job
fenrisulfr did with this entire series, and having you be a part of it.
And there was nothing poor about you at all. You were the perfect, tasty treat to wrap things up with. *giggles*
Of course, Dodger turned out to be the perfect mastermind for the entire scheme. Just goes to show that neither bird nor rodent should ever trust a jackyote.
