When Anne-Marie used her magic to transform herself into a willump, she wasn't really sure what to expect. She was still relatively new to magic, and she mostly just wanted to make her boyfriend happy by satisfying his rather niche preferences, and use this to try to get him interested in the subject of magic. In her mind the transformation would just be a temporary thing, a few hours maybe, at most it'd be over by morning. However, as she soon learned, there was a good reason she couldn't find any information on how long it lasted.
It took some time to adjust to her new form, but she had chosen it for a reason. The idea of being a huge, fluffy, cuddly animal appealed to her softer side, and her size and strength meant she was more than capable of protecting those she cared about. Retaining her arms meant she could still, in theory, do all the things she could do before, and growing two extra was a nice bonus. Certain aspects of her form were more... questionable, but she'd grow used to those in time. All in all, she quickly found herself perfectly happy with living out her life in such a form. If anything, she was glad the spell turned out to be permanent.
The relationship that had led to this whole situation wouldn't last, but it was an amicable break-up, as a long-term relationship between a human and a monster proved too difficult to maintain. She started a new life, roaming the wilderness, using her strength and her magic to help out anybody she met along the way, and spending time with those out there who just wanted a 20-foot tall monster friend to hug and watch the stars with.
Lately the Willump TF I drew a few months back has been on my mind a lot. Not just the drawing itself, but the whole character and her post-TF form really vibes with me. As tends to happen when I feel that way about a drawing, I decided I should make her into a proper OC. My main goal with this drawing was to make something I could use as an avatar, but it'd feel like a waste to not upload the full drawing.
I'll probably use her for more general content, unlike my previous two OCs who are designed for much more specific themes. Her overall design pretty much nails all my preferences when it comes to physical appearance, and being bipedal makes it a lot easier to draw varied content, so I'll probably draw her more than my previous OCs.
