If you enjoy my art and want to support me, I will soon be opening small magic potion orders, with custom colour and label for them :) Until June the 6th, I will be preparing new labels and will start taking orders next week!
These will be β¬12.00 EUR each (international shipping included). Once this week has passed, asking for a new specific label will count as extra!
Thank you a lot in advance!

/Technically/ it is possible to turn Lead into Gold. The problem is that it would take so much power to force the change of electron and proton numbers in the atoms that it's not worth the effort. Thus, while not chemistry per se, alchemy could be considered a science, more akin to atomic physics. Transmogrification via potion would be a biological science if possible. 'Magic is simply science beyond your understanding.'
overly long joke complete :P

Actually, ancient alchemists were really convinced they were turning lead into gold.
This is mostly due to the fact that before identification of elements, there was a sort of confusion between lead β and mercury βΏ (which was called quicksilver.. tells a lot about how metals were not strictly identified).
In fact, gold is readily absorbed by mercury. This is a method gold diggers were using to extract gold from rivers (not very green tech..). Put sand with mercury. The mercury will go through the sand, and the gold particles inside will migrate to the mercury phase. Then if you heat it, the mercury will evaporate but the gold particles will stay.
So, from this, you can imagine how it could be thought that when putting that "quicksilver mixed with sand" in a closed space, then heating it and letting the mercury vapours get out (do not inhale), it would have "turned into gold"

Thus 'Drink Me' is the perfect disguise label! 'They' would never expect it!
According to the mad Madam Mim, purple dragon's aren't imaginary (Am I the only one who wants to see that line come out of Spyro?) And quite possibly pills. Kobolds are small, so you wouldn't want to overdose on the potion.

It may take a bit for me to afford them (low on cash atm), but I think I'd like a dragon one and a cat one (got a character that's a dragon/cat shifter).
Would it be possible to get potions that are multiple non-mixing colours? Either like a lava lamp (non-moving, obviously) or something where most of the potion is one colour but there's large 'bubbles' of another, or striped like a pride flag? What about a potion with 'flecks' of a different colour in it, maybe done with glitter or something? Just trying to figure out what I want for the potions...

Label ideas? Sadly, I am without spending funds, but here's some suggestions:
Deer, maybe call it a Hart or Hind to make it sound older depending if it's a stag or doe?
Lion
Horse
Serpent (literal 'snake oil' heh)
Griffin
Squirrel, Sparrow, and Fish as a set. Callback to Disney's 'Sword in the Stone' film

The form should be ready in time for tomorrow! Gives me a bit more time to finish some labels! ^_^
Also got to work on a small extra for the project :)
