I dunno: They shed, as this comic dutifully illustrates, they meow incessantly, you have to clean their poop, they climb on everything, they claw everything, and above all else, they treat you, the owner, like shit and are completely ungrateful for whatever you do for them as if they are supposed to be doing things for them, for they are kinds and queens. Grrrr....
lol, I don't hate pets, I own 3 guinea pigs, and I love dogs. ...and yes, ownership as a give and take isn't something they can rationalize, but it's instinctual for an animal not to hurt the entity that gives them food, for example. Every cat except one that I've met has scratched or bitten me or both, for no reason. Even ones that I've lived with. ...and the fact that the majority of cat owners I've met who hands are always scarred with cat bite/claw marks will defend cats saying "You must have done something wrong" Or "Aw, he clawed you, that's so cute" just makes me angrier. Your pet is not supposed to injure you. If a dog bit you, people would demand it be put down. If a cat bites you, it's so cute and it's just playing.
Angers me so.
Angers me so.
If a cat doesn't like you he'll just keep his distance and that's cool with me! Dogs on the other hand are completely intolerable if they don't like other people. I have a hard time going to my one friend's house because her min pin hates/is scared by everything and will never relent with barking and following me around :I
Seriously! Cats are so awesome! My childhood cat Siepie could hug like a little person and she'd sleep in my arms almost every night. Our first cat TimTim would always comfort me if I was crying. He'd immediately come up to me and start purring and snuggling until I felt better, even though he was a grumpy old man most of the time.
