At this angle you can kinda see the worn areas... there to the upper right is where I've filled with weld. You don't have to look all that close to see where they guys before me just put bits of steel in the worn holes and kinda welded them in place...

What you are looking at with the worn holes in it is the backing plate that the wear plates bolt to... yes something bolts to this face... I've been working and welding on this for almost two weeks.
