The dragon knows very well how dangerous this area is; after all, he's being paid to ensure his cargo arrives. Pirates have cut the supply lines to the planet in an effort to wear down the security forces. Judging by the floating debris, this is not the first ship to attempt this contract. The captain has faith that his ship has more defenses and is more heavily-armored than those. He maxes out the throttle, and tries to run right down the middle!
