My old bike...kinda miss it :(
it's a 2004 Kona Stinky.
But there's no where near me that i need such a beast of a bike...this bike was bomb proof...could take anything you threw at it...
kinda regret selling it..but I had to...

If you live in in Colorado I'll buy those rims and tires if the rims are still true. I really didn't like the hays brakes but they worked. I need to find another XL frame of that vintage. If you look at the new ones they held back on a lot of the renforcement to save weight. I miss that bike and I need to find another.
The bike actually would be good for city riding in indianapolis because our streets are soo bad plus being able to take alot of shortcuts Ive blown thru 2 x717 rims from broken nipples. I have also thrashed a canondale rize 4 so bad that it need a major overhaul in 8 weeks and possibly a frame replacement in a year as the shortcuts I take sometimes include 6ft to flat drops and alot of staircases. What part of Canada as I thought DH was big everywhere or is your new bike more of a park bike
Damn nice, dude. I always wanted one of those stinkys, especially when they came out in 04'. Specifically I wanted the Stinky Dee Lux with the Jr.T fork. God those were the days.
Looks like you were able to ride it decently hard, got the typical Hussefelt shoe wear. the cranks on my P.2 look like that D: original from when I bought it in 2004 they're bomb proof.

Yeah my stock BB on my P.2 is going out, though I think its a Truvativ "TH" or something like that. probably a Specialized knock off. right now it just kinda creaks
And yeah, the Hussefelts are stupid strong. The ones on my P.2 are still going strong after 6 years of abuse. and then I use Hussefelts on my DH bike and they've survived almost 18 straight days of Whistler B.C.
And yeah, 2003-2005 best for Kona for sure, Also 2003-2005 best for Specialized (Remember when the Demo 9 came out in '04?), Giant and Iron Horse kinda got their start in 04'

Ive got the same bike, same year and color.
I picked it up for $600 and put another $200 into the brakes.
That's a damn good bike, it will take any thing you throw at it and demand more.
the paint is a little dinged up from falling on rocks, but that's the only damage it takes.
