I can't thank you guys enough for being so kind to me and welcoming. I've felt like a broken person for years now, but thankfully I have an understanding and loving husband, a great support network and plucked up the courage to finally say it.

The messages you sent to me on twitter mean the world, and I thank you. I feel like the weight of the world has lifted off of my shoulders and I can breathe again.

I've grieved, I've been angry, but now my mind is silent.

I wanted to participate in pride last year, but I just felt awkward, so this year it's my year to make 2021 the best one it can be. I can be me, and free.

So, this is me finally. I'm Ace, and I'm still Lappy. I'm still learning and have a long way to go.
