If there's something that a foxxo loves about life, it's forest bathing. In Erin Niimi Longhurst's [em]A Little Book of Japanese Contentments[/em], "its the practice of healing through being immersed in nature, or 'forest bathing'". A few other concepts that she discusses are:

kachou fuugetsu, or looking at the individual components of the nature as a symbiotic whole. Recognizing that we "learn about ourselves through experiencing the beauty of nature".

Komorebi being "the kind of light you see in a forest - the rays of sun that are filtered through the leaves of the trees".

and a night foxxo's favorite phenomenon, Kawaakari. "The way light - particularly moonlight - reflects off a river, expressing the shimmers, ripples and gleams. It refers to the brightening of the river and the way the light plays with the surface".

This foxxo's temple and spirit lives and breaths through the paths of the forest. His communion is stopping to touch the ground and thank Nature for everything she provides. It's song is the breeze of the wind and its history is through the rings of the trees. The love reflected back through this foxxo's smile.
