My kitchen was invaded recently. I brought some 3-year-old ant traps up from the basement. Entomological Armageddon.

I noticed the constant traffic flow of ants from one tree in the parking lot of the state office in Payson AZ that I work at. Nothing in the winter, but spring thru fall, they're on the 101 at all hours. I dropped a bit of Tootsie Roll on the expressway to watch what would happen. Funny thing, a few ants were off to one side and the others were going up to them and seemed to get orders from them. Seemed to be - harvest the sweet stuff and reroute traffic around it

I've already started spraying the areas where I get things coming in from outside. Small roaches, ants, spiders, centipedes and scorpions. Nothing like being up early in the morning an seeing a 6 inch plus centipede on the kitchen floor
