A more in-depth analysis of available drawing types I offer, specifically the Stage and Size.
If you don't care, feel free to just check out the prices found here.
Please be sure to read my ToA HERE before messaging me so that we're all on the same page.
If you're commissioning me for later stages, this is also a handy list of what milestone updates to expect in each one.
-== Stages ==-
== Top - Left to Right ==
Sketch
> Quick/easy to draw- can churn out even a complex piece in less than a day.
> Better for ideas and character concepts.
> Usually monochromatic(one color) though pieces with multiple characters or a background will have rough color/shade coding to pull out certain pieces.
> This is the second/third phase of my drawing process and is the product just before I start lining when complete.
Line Art
> Refined and clear cut- usually takes me the longest behind fully shading a piece since I try to keep my lines pretty clean.
> Best for people who want to see their character with a lot of finer details.
> Same color-scheme as in the sketch phase. Don't expect a lot.
> This is normally a one-and-done stage unless there are multiple versions of the character in one commission.
Flat Colors (Flats)
> Fully realized character- pretty easy to hash out, though color theory itself is a lot of trial and error.
> Great for references and those who want to see their character in all their glory without spending a lot of money
> This is where the fur pattern usually comes in, though for things like eyebrows or tattoos I might draw them in the Line Art stage.
Fully Shaded
> Though in a cartoony 2D style, the most realistic and deep version of a character I can render- the longest stage I offer but the result is well worth the effort
> All the bells and whistles for those who want to see the best version I can give of their character.
> Usually includes: colored line art for lighter-toned characters, cell-shading, soft lights/shadows, and occasional texture.
“Painterly Render”(Not Pictured)
> A painterly approach to my usual shading- very time consuming and not exact or well refined!
> Very rare for me to do, and is not offered upfront since it's not something I'm always comfortable doing. Examples of my attempts: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/41468795/ and (NSFW)https://www.furaffinity.net/view/40746659/
> It is not up to my standards and is usually only whipped out for overly simple characters and personal projects.
> Feel free to request this, but if I deem the character or piece overall is too complex I will refuse outright. While I won't ask for additional money for doing this(it'd be considered a Fully Shaded piece), a tip for the added hour or more of work would be greatly appreciated.
-== Sizes ==-
== Bottom - Left to Right ==
Bust
> Head and shoulders of a character. Added length for cleavage, necklines of shirts, or jewelry is allotted, though I'll rarely draw the whole breast on a female, or pectoral on a male, before considering it a Waist-Up.
> Up to one hand/paw will be drawn with a bust, though for complex hand positions it might cost extra.
Waist-Up
> Pretty self explanatory. At most I'll go down to just above the knees to make up for long shirts or short dresses in order to make the silhouette look nice. Or to just see all the bits and pieces in a NSFW without drawing too much leg. Knees are my hard-stop before it turns into a Full-Body.
> Will draw both hands/paws if the position allows it.
Full Body
> Everything but the kitchen sink. Full body is full body even if the position is scronched from sitting or half-covered by hair. I still have to draw the body to get the proportions right, even if the final product doesn't show it.
Multiple Characters(Not Pictured)
> Drawing multiple characters in one picture is difficult for me, but manageable. I won't be drawing any more than three characters in one drawing because my soul can not handle it, sorry.
> Multiple characters does include reference sheets(front/back). There's too much different on the backside of a character for me to consider it anything less than an additional being.
> Floating hands/genitalia will not count as an extra character but will still have an extra fee(just not as much)
