nearing the end of half of their journey perils began to arise, the path becoming harduous as the peak's based came in reach, dangers known only to those used to its winding paths as the stars and celestial bodies' influence grew stronger, mightier and led some astray, former pilgrims fallen to the cosmic whims of higher beings, tricked into the belief of self godhood...


aaand fourth piece of the serie and just as a precision, mars is the manipulative cosmic newt, the guy in front thinks he is mars's embodiment which i think i'll name nergal which is a mesopotamian god of pestilence if i recall associated with the planet (but through family bonds also associated with war just like ares was, funny how by seeing the myths associated to planets you can see how religions inspired each others, either that or somehow they individually and without any interaction gave similar significance to the same celestial bodies which is way less likely)
