It looks great! I'm just an amateur scribbler, but I love to see professional artists taking the time to create personal pieces! Even if I had the skill, I don't think I'd ever want to go pro... I'd be too afraid the pressure of conforming to someone else's vision and creating the images they wanted, turning art into a "job", would suck all the joy out of it for me. Don't get me wrong, I have tremendous respect and admiration for artists with the skill and discipline to make a successful career out of their talent, but it's important to keep it enjoyable, too! π
I totally agree with you. Drawing pictures for other people who are paying for your services is a very big responsibility. But it's also true that if I didn't try to turn art into work, I wouldn't be able to dedicate the time I would like to continue learning and improving. I would have to dedicate my time to doing other jobs that don't interest me until perhaps I reach the point where I stop drawing and that would make me very sad. I encourage you to continue drawing and learning if you really have a passion for it even if you just do it for fun! that's the purest feeling of all ^^
