Roller was born and raised on the strange planet "sandstorm shugazoom" kind of similar to shugazoom, except it was more desertic-like and it was famous for its constant sandstorms hence the name for the planet

sandstorm shugazoom was also famous for being the best hideout for criminals and trouble-makers, as a child roller always had troubles there, until one day, wandering trough the mountains, he found a cave to hide from the sandstorm that was coming, being dangerous as there was plenty of metal and toxic minerals on the planet, making their sandstorms deadly, once there, roller bumped into some kind of crystal, it was attached to the wall of the cave, so out of curiosity he did everything he could to pull it out from there

the crystal was actually a dark crystal, a dark component that would turn anyone into their most evil self, but in roller's case, it just removed his fears and made him more hot-headed and more... "badass", the only evil-looking change on his aspect was that the metal on his arms and tail turned a little blueish, as well as blood-red pupils, he spent his childhood and teens using that cave as his new home filling it with all the comodities of any bandit hideout(including some special soda that lifted up anyone's mood and spirit called "spirit soda", thanks to the dark crystal, roller managed to make a name for himself, he was well respected amongst some of the most important criminal circles and gangs in sandstorm shugazoom, he made himself some tatooes around his body to make himself more distinctive, despite being the only robot monkey in the whole planet

once he reached the end of his teens he decided that living his whole life in sandstorm shugazoom wasn't the kind of life he wanted, so he packed his belongings and decided to explore the universe in order to find a place where he could fit in

1 year of traveling later, he found himself in a small trouble with a space biker gang called "the spectres" he didnt realize that he ended up helping a rival gang of the spectres to defeat them, that gang was The restless brotherhood, the leader saw roller's potential, so he got recruited into the restless after a dangerous initiation, more dangerous than any member or prospect had to go trough before, that would start one of his biggest adventures ever
