I remember 15 years ago my family went to Padre Island. We saw so many sandsculptures and castles. People that have lived in the area for years and would just make that stuff on a daily basis.
My favorite part was as night fell watching the tide come in a reclaim them. I likend it to an etchasketch. People would create things all day, just to let the ocean wipe the slate clean for the next days art.

Yeah not a bad way to spend the night if I do say so. Of course there's always something inherintly fun about smashing into one of them and watching the sand fly.
