WELL! ... I have a new series to follow. Absolutely LOVE your care to detail, by the way. The page layouts are dynamic and interesting, the fov and panel composition as well, and your BACKGROUNDS.
And your character designs are GORGEOUS. Unique from each other, but also familiar and comfortable. I'm usually VERY faceblind, so really on body language to tell characters apart but I don't have to for yours; HOWEVER, even if I did, it'd be so easy. Your characters' body language is SO expressive. and the outfits!!! <3
(I hope the plethora of compliments doesn't sound disingenuous, these really are AMAZING <3)

I think the mention of UBI is a small but important detail which strengthens the story over all.
The presence of UBI means that if Chole doesn't get the job she's not in any financial trouble. It's inconvenient sure, but she's not gonna get evicted, go hungry, get crushed under debt, or not be able to pay for medicine.
The main thing is it makes Chole's involvement in the later events seem like they're coming from her own desires and are entirely her decisions. It's not like she feels pressured to play along so she can get the job to avoid poverty, she can drop the whole thing and fall back on UBI if she's too overwhelmed. It's a tiny detail, but it's valuable none the less.
