one place I was working, they were doing a lot of Venezuela aircraft, and the man running the company felt I could do a log entry using google translate. I actually tried, and then showed the entry to a Latin friend - who laughed his ass off.
He pointed to one item where a circuit breaker had been collared to keep it in the off position. 'This word here,' he told me, 'Is the collar of a shirt.'
