The fear of heights, I has it.
Also, just to shove some info into your heads, the fear of heights is often incorrectly referred to as Vertigo. Vertigo is the spinning sensation you feel, and is related back to bones in the ear.

^^ I've had plenty of chances to observe that with my cat (she always misses her jumps). The expressions were the best part to draw.
Aw... I'm in no way arachnophobic, I'm normally the one people call to remove a spider. I am Katsaridaphobic (fear of roaches)... and I think they know it, I've been chased by a roach.

ohhhh... roaches are scary for me too X3 I had these huge ones when I lived in Florida (they are actually some sort of water beetle... but they look like just huge ass roaches that fly >.>) and I was terrified of them... they liked my dishwasher... so I got in the habit of opening the dish washer with the broom stick... and if there was one in there... it was the husbands turn to do the dishes XD lol
but I can handle those much better than spiders... ever since I can remember... I just go into full panic with them... even though I know most wont hurt me, its just... *shivers* I have no idea XD they have kept me out of my house... out of my room... even out of my bathroom X3 funny really... a little pathetic of me... but eh... I just freeze o.o

Those sound like American Brown Banded cockroaches. Everyone calls them water bugs, but they are roaches. We have the same, and since it's going to be wet and humid again I'm sure to see a few more...
Haha, well I woke my friend up calling him to kill a huge 4 inch long roach that had taken control of my bathroom. Turns out the thing died shortly before he arrived, and for all we know he must of died from my hate waves XD
Well, I can understand, there are some aspects of the spider that just make them scary. The fact that I can't wake up without having to check myself for one of the critters has just made me very tolerant of their presence. They seem to like me... I've actually had a spider pull its web up out of my way.

hehe I think the one with wings is called a Palmeto waterbug or something like that......I hate them as much as roaches *shivvers*
