It is so difficult to not drown oneself in the water of life.
We drown in what-ifs and should-haves.
We drown in the fears of our future.
Sometimes
There comes forth a burst of strength
And we pull ourselves from the water
Into a Sanctuary
If only for a moment.
If only to catch a breath.
Art is my breath.
Light leads me to it.
This is the last painting I did for my degree in the arts.
