Caspian, an awesome little feathery that I met at the parade, was telling me about his recent trip to the Gulf of Mexico. Now, I've heard that place was lovely this time of year, but when he told me about the oil spill I damn near shit myself. I had been wondering about the black splotches in his feathers, but since he's such a stylish fellow I just assumed it was some sort of perverse bird fashion that I didn't know anything about - you know, I rarely look good in bird clothing, my legs aren't nearly spindly enough.
