Sifting through dog related images from the past, I discovered this
poorly composed and under exposed gem. It is posted here for
one reason: the floating blob of ectoplasm next to Carmen's
left ear. No flash bounce or photoshop tricks here, kids.
Just a good old fashioned haunting.
Figures it would be Carmen. No ghost would dare to have tangled with
Rodger. He would have thought the spirit was a great new chew toy.
You gotta maintain some dignity, even in the afterlife.
Poltergeists have a difficult time making trouble when
they've been gnawed around the edges.

ghost pride
to be haunting such a cool dog.
And awesome background, too! ^.=.^
Years ago I took a few of photos of my Corgi mix Sam a few days before he passed away. It was on 35MM, before I owned a digicam. They all had odd visuals in them. Balls of light next to him, above him. The lighting conditions where dusk, much like you have here. I like to think I captured something supernatural, perhaps spirits whom had come for him. Perhaps he knew they where there? Perhaps they where his wings; which he had more then earned at that point during his stay in our world. Perhaps the film was defective. Regardless it is a talisman of thought and contemplation.
Thanks so much for sharing this very special photo. I'd love to see more of Roger, Carmen too.

BTW - Carmen is my father's name.
*hugs*
Very cool, dogs are so wonderful I'm sure they are in tune
with all kinds of things that we are not.
You are right, we are truly lucky!
And bless you, Mr. Carmen, for having such a wonderful son.
(love the pic, also, BTW.)
the temps were in the 90s and her breath evaporated as soon
as it was exhaled. I'd prefur to think it was a friendly spirit..
Even my dogs wouldn't enjoy that kind
of a haunting!
That would be really cool.
Now if only I could paint...
Thanks!!
Hehe, it looks like the doggy's carrying the ghost!
Excpet that it was 105 degrees and no self respecting
bug was out and about....
Only us dumb dogs!
