And they screwed up by not inviting him. They could have at least spoken Brownlee about asking if he or she had the secret to immortality even though Solomon would roundly deny having it himself

And they would not believe him, for reasons outlined in previous pages. So, unfortunately, we still end up where we are now but now everyone is on high alert and the weapons and dastardly schemes are being prepared in earnest.

If I recall her origin story, when she was first learning her powers, when Mink used big spells like healing, particularly large or complicated AoE, or attack spells, she would be absolutely spent and had to eat a great deal and/or sleep afterwards. I'm guessing she does not have to sleep as much anymore.

Weirdly it is one of the things that made no sense about Wolverine and Deadpool. When he had to heal from seriously and massive injuries, He just downed at most a burger and a beer and he was good. Where do they get the material and the energy to regenerate if not by eating a lot after getting tore up?

Basically all superpowers break conservation of energy, but the ones that create or destroy mass (the Hulk, Ant-Man/Giant-Man, Wolverine, etc.) break it the most crazily.

Ant-Man/Giant-Man did weird stuff like compressing matter. Did does not make much sense since it was so arbitrary. How does a 200lb man shrink the size of an ant and not still weigh 200lbs?

William Messner-Loebs (who later went on to do his own work, including The Maxx and the unjustly forgotten Epicurus the Sage) wrote for DC's The Flash for a while, and would make it a point to show him eating piles upon piles of pizza and other stuff.
