As long as you'd provide them with food, loyalty is guaranteed! And better the food, the more they will do to get it, be it allowing to pet them or copying stuff that you have shown them. By intelligence they are almost on the same level as ragkhlars, just more cunning and unpredictable at times (they are trap hunters after all). Overall, it's a good pet to keep smaller critters at bay and have a supporting company, with time they might even decide to stick around not just because of goodies, but because they truly have grown to their owner, and when that happens, no amount of treats from someone else would force them to betray their allegiance to you.
